There's a little girl coming in Feb!

Tim & I officially have to start calling the baby in the belly "she" instead of "he". Monday we went for the ultrasound & she wasn't being shy. It's still surreal, for me anyway, that I will be having a baby in less than 5 months. I keep poking around eBay to see what I can find for little girls. I haven't started the new mommy shopping yet, I figure I will start that around when it starts getting cold. I am finding some things that are making it VERY tempting. Like a GORGEOUS SILK blessing dress for something like $35. You read right. $35. Silk. I think the synthetic one from church distribution is more than that, or around there.

We are at a loss currently for what to name her. We want something different, but not something that no one will be able to pronounce or spell. I had THE most commonly given name in the 70's, so I will not be saddling my daughter with one of the 'it' names. I do not want her to be one of the 5 Jenn's in her class.

We're having a baby!

Well, I'm not sure how far the news has gotten, but We're Having a Baby!!

I was at the doctor yesterday for my first ultrasound & he should be here in mid-February. He looks like a little bean, but I heard his little heartbeat!! We're calling him a 'he'. I don't know if 'he' really is a 'he' or not, or if we just want a boy so we're calling him a him. We'll find out in due time and might have to start calling 'him' a 'her', but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

The morning sickness is starting to go away now, but my appetite hasn't came back quite yet. The queaziness is still there sometimes, so I'm afraid to eat much more than crackers and yogurt most of the time.

I'm sure Tim will be overjoyed when the mood swings stop and I'm much nicer at night when he's snoring & I'm pissed off beyond pissed off that he's snoring. I actually considered pushing him out of bed the other night!

I'll try to keep everyone posted as to our progress & what all is going on.

No Bridezillas here!

I am happy to report that the wedding went off without a hitch. No snow, no sleet, no falling cakes, nothing catching on fire.
The fact that I didn't melt down when I couldn't be present for decorating is also nothing short of a small miracle. Getting back to the building to find it fully decorated was a HUGE relief. I must say that Tim, and his mom & dad did an AWESOME job decorating.
I'm soooo excited to see all of the pictures everyone took (including the ones a few people took on my camera-I just found my camera last night).....BTW, I'm not sure who all took pictures for me, but if you're reading this Thanks!
The girls were also little angels all during the wedding and reception. They looked so cute in their little dresses.
As soon as I get pictures & get them uploaded, there will be pics!

Getting Married

Well, I'm pretty sure that it's common knowledge by now, but Tim & I are getting married on the 15th. I'm really hoping we can get everything together before then. My OCD streak tends to come out when everything isn't nailed down and things are quickly approaching.
My flowers have already been shipped back to Kansas and were to be reshipped (with additional flowers for the girls) around Friday or Monday. Hopefully the carrier will recognize the address this time.
The weather is also another concern of mine. With my family coming from snow country as it is, I'm hoping that the snow holds off. I'm also hoping the snow holds off because Tim & I will be driving to DC on the 16th. I have driven home from DC in the snow before, and I have started to DC in the snow-but I have never driven all the way in the snow. We are not going to want to brave the snow to trapse around the city for 3 days if its snowing either.

New to this

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog!
I'm entirely new at the whole blogging thing. Those of you that know me well know that I'm usually chattering about something, so figuring it all out will likely not be too difficult for me to get used to.
Well, all, stay tuned for me from me!
